More info

The E-PROPS brand is a benchmark in the world of 100% carbon paramotor propellers.

These propellers, designed and manufactured specifically for paramotor use, offer according to the manufacturer:

  •  Optimum performance: fuel economy and better performance
  •  An optimized mass: the lightest on the market (because actually full carbon!)
  •  A strong limitation of noise nuisance, thanks to the specific blade profiles
  •  Impeccable quality
  •  An excellent hold over time: very strong 100% carbon blades
  •  Perfect balance: vibration limitation

Thanks to efficient production methods, these propellers offer an attractive price performance ratio.

Tightening torque:
1.1 daNm with 6mm screws
2.0 daNm with 8mm screws

The tightening torque must be applied in 3 successive operations and gradually. For each transaction, it will be equal to one third of the nominal value.
During tightening, a slight settling of the material is normal around the flange and the hub. The tightening torque must imperatively be checked after the first hour of flight, and thereafter, as many times as necessary and at least every 25 hours.

Verification of the tracking of the propeller mounted on the engine:
This is a very important check that anyone can do to see if the propeller is bent or warped asymmetrically. Start by rotating the propeller until one of the blades is pointing down. Place a support (ex: wood block) directly under the blade and mark the exact path of the blade on the support. With this support still in place, turn the propeller on the next blade. The trace of each blade on the support must be perfectly aligned with the mark of the previous one. If the blade moves to a different location, this indicates that the blade has been bent in some way and should be replaced immediately..

The maximum tolerance of propeller tracking is 10 mm.

Dynamic game:

At maximum power, a blade can advance up to 20 mm towards the cage. This deformation depends on the mounting of the engine, the firmness of the silent blocks, the rigidity of the cage and its wind resistance.
It is recommended to move the propeller at least 40 mm away from the cage and any possible obstacle.

Operation:
Max speed: 3000 rpm
Max power: 35ch on motor with reduction

Interview :
The cleaning of a carbon propeller is done with a sponge, with soapy water or a glass product. Drying can be done with a chamois leather.

Repair:
Small impacts are easily repaired (epoxy resin, araldite, light sanding). For larger repairs, contact us.

The PLUG'n'FLY Models:
PLUG'n'FLY propellers are 100% carbon, lightweight and resistant, with shielded leading edge, simple to assemble and disassemble thanks to the two nestable parts.
